Okay, The first day of my last period was June 28, I have a 30-31 day cycle.

I got a VERY VERY light home pregnancy test on Monday, went to the doctor that same day, got a VERY light positive, they gave me a blood test (I was 3.2 weeks preggo from last period) and I went back in today and he said it hcg was really low (14) and wants me to go back in a week to retest, so I went home and took another HPT, and it was a little darker than it was monday, is that a good sign?? If I was losing the baby wouldnt it be lighter than it was monday??

Thanks!! Be nice Please!! :)

If your HCG level was only 14 I don't know how a pregnancy test picked that up at him, since the most sensitive out there usually needed the level to be at 20. If the next test was darker then that is a good sign though, since it means your level went up. My first pregnancy I used the sensitive tests and got a positive 7 days past ovulation. I lined up test the whole week and the line got a little darker each day. I found out that 50% of these very early pregnancies end in miscarriage, so this time I waited until I missed my period. Looks like so far your baby is fine.

Zachary'smommy is right you hcg should double every 48 hours or so. but if your home pregnancy tests are also getting darker that is a good sign I have had 4 m/c and with this pregnancy I took a total of 5 pregnancy test before I went to the doctors the earlyiest at 3w 2d and the last one at 5w 4days and each one was darker then the other.
I am now 22 weeks and doing well.

I hope this helps and I hope things work out for you. I know its hard but try not to worry as stress is not good for you. If you are really concerned go back to your doctors and get another blood test done.

Good Luck and Take Care

You should be fine, when i took my first pregnancy test it was very light and i took 3 more because i was in disbelief. The one i took the next day was a lot darker. When I went to the dr i was 4 weeks. it will get darker the higher your HCG level is. Don't worry and good luck.

If a home pregnancy test has even a slight positive, it is positive. Very very rarely they have a false positive. If you were going to have a miscarriage your hormone levels would stay the same until the miscarriage passed. Good Luck!!

I honestly don't know if that has anything to with you losing the baby. You could just produce really low HCG hormones and I have heard that some women do that. It could have to do with that. I wouldn't stress just yet. Good luck and congrats!

Many women develop diabetes through pregnancy. The only sure way to know is to visit a clinic. Take a friend or family member with you for support or try to ring a pregnancy help line

it sounds like u r pregnant. it sounds like ur levels r rising. if the doc is worried he will prescribe something to help make them rise to the safe levels.
