No because if they think people like Michael Moore, Bill Mahrer, Jon Stewart and the Hollyweird leftists have the knowledge base to give them their marching orders then you need to back to school, the majority of them were lucky to get out of HS or get their GED. So libs have far less value for real education.

Well considering there are many well educated conservatives in this country, I would say the answer is no. What I find with liberals is they have an elitist attitude towards education. They think they are somehow better educated and therefore better suited to decide what is right for everyone. It doesn't matter if people don't agree with them because at that point then liberals use education like a club. Then it becomes a matter of anyone who doesn't agree is just not smart enough to know what is good for them and must be forced through legislation into accepting their brilliant schemes. What I have found in my dealings with many liberals is that they are intelligent thinkers, but their solutions and policies lack real world practicality and are generally miserable failures when applied.

Conservatives seem to value education only as it pertains to money, which is their only god. (That other god in the Bible is merely used to obtain allies, get votes, and pretend they have a moral grounding.)
Of course you need an education to get a job (or run a business) and have a decent life. But it also has value for its own sake, for the sheer joy of learning and becoming truly edified. When I look at the subgroup of people who are already financially secure and who wish to continue their education, they tend to be Liberals.
Science contradicts some of the basic thoughts of today's Conservatives. The best examples of that are human-accelerated global warming, and evolution, both denied by large numbers of conservatives. But you can't fight science. Science doesn't care, at all, about anything, no matter how you keen and wail. It is supremely indifferent to our petty desires. And that is the most attractive thing about it; it has a grandeur that transcends human affairs.
When thousands of scientists from around the world agree on an issue, it's basically settled until superior observation and theory is offered.
I'm using science and education as synonymous, and they are not. But if you have filters in place that keep you from accepting science, it's reasonable that they would also keep you from accepting many other ideas, too, except the ones that support your political views.

No. There are Libs who do not value education just as there are Cons who do not value education.
Both sides boast to value education politically.
Both sides have dumb dumbs and Brains who align themselves politically as Con or Lib.
The answer is no.

Honestly young lady . What is your fixation or should I call it what it is 'ELITISM' , with you thinking that because someone has different political ideology , then that somehow makes them less intelligent ???
No , liberals don't value knowledge more than conservatives . How childish to even ask .
I consider this post and the many others like it that you've posted to be juvenile attempts to diminish the value of other Americans .
Maybe this 'star' that I give you will bring other people here to explain it to you as well .
Good day .
Argue and debate the issues little girl. . .. . . . . or can you ?

A few quotes from Tao Te Ching:
In this manner the sage governs people:
Emptying their minds,
Filling their bellies,
Weakening their ambitions,
And strengthening their bones.
If people lack knowledge and desire
Then they can not act;
If no action is taken
Harmony remains.
I'll leave you to decide which present-day US political party prescribes to the relativism of "the Way" and which better aligns with Confucian "morality"...

Liberals, maybe. Democrats no.
Just look at the 'dependency' constituent base that the democrats pander to. These people would not be dependent on government if they were educated or better educated.

I think that conservatives value knowledge and education to the extent that it can support financial gain. Liberals have an appreciation for self enlightenment.

Liberalism requires a failed education. An educated individual quickly sees the shortcomings of the policies and ideas on the left.
