Yes, I hate Michael Vick as well. On so many different levels. First and foremost, I hate him for what he has done to these helpless animals. Second, I hate him for what he has done to the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons, fans and organizations alike. Lastly I hate him for the torment I have been through the last week, picturing and imagining what these animals must have suffered before and while he murdered them.

I am an Atlanta Falcon Fan, and a former Michael Vick fan. Up until I read this indictment, I stood behind Michael Vick no matter what. The herpes, the water bottle incident, the finger salute, the fumbles, the stolen watch at the airport, not showing up to testify in front of Congress when it had been arranged, the lost games, no matter what, I would argue in his defense. But no more.

I hope he rots in jail, I will hate him forever.

Sorry to say, there are many Atlantans defending him, and also sorry to say that the majority of them are black and they are calling this a racial issue. That is so sad and so disheartening. But hey, what can I do about it? I must say that not ALL black Atlantans are doing so. Terence Moore, a very prominent black sportswriter with our local newspaper has said that he believes Michael Vick's career is over. I just called a company that sells NEUTER MICHAEL VICK T-shirts and the lady who took my order was a black woman. She is COMPLETELY disgusted with what Michael Vick has done. So, let's not paint the 'broad brush'.

I have noticed that many of the postings online in defense of Michael Vick, and turning this into a racial issue, are expressed in a very inarticulate manner. Even rudimentary words are misspelled, no punctuation, and more often than not the verbiage really doesn't make much sense, you can only gather that they feel that these were just DOGS, and Michael Vick is being persecuted by the media because he is a BLACK superstar. I think this speaks volumes about who would defend Michael Vick at this juncture, and I suspect many of these postings are made by Vick family members or his posse afraid they are on the verge of losing their 'meal ticket'.

No. I don't hate him at all.
My views about him, before all this happened, were that he was very talented but extremely overrated. He's got a strong arm & he improvises well. But, he lacks the height & accuracy to play QB in the NFL.
My views of him now are that he was stupid to 'let' someone 'use his house' and claim he had no knowledge of what activities were going on.

To Jethro: I'm black too and I disagree. Not all black people gave a damn about OJ. OJ hasn't been black since he played for the Bills. Also, not all black people support Vick either. Lots of people I know feel the same way about him...he was involved/associated with something stupid.

He'll have his day in court. If he's found guilty, he'll be convicted. If he's found innocent, he'll be acquitted.

I don't hat Mike Vick, i think he's suck at being a QB in the NFL, in another word he's not a good QB. People whose make excuse for him are not realist, they can see beyond his elusive running skilled as a QB. And why would you makes excuse for a charges dog fighter, not convict yet, the court has to decide that. But Vick is not gonna be anything after the court is done with him, all his endorsement is gone now. He's not a good QB and after the court he won't be a good human being either.

I loved him on Tech, I'm a huge Tech fan so watching him was great. I didn't mind him so much his first few years, but since his STD thing, airport incident, and now the dogfighting (which I will save judement for a judge, I won't condem him yet) he seems to bring nothing but negative attention on himself. Marcus is a prick, I'm glad Tech got rid of him, they should've done it sooner. Even after he got kicked off the team he showed no remorse "It's alright, I'll just go pro baby," yeah, that sure worked out well for him.
Anyhow, I hope it comes out that Mike really had nothing to do with this, I don't think it will, but it'd be nice, that way Tech won't have to rename Michael Vick Hall.

I do not hate Vick. I believe he needs to get himself together. Its a shame he has done this but I also don't believe this would be a big deal had he been a white player.

What pisses me off more than anything is the fact that any player (white or black) of any sport who grew up less fortunate don't have enough sense to make some social changes in their lives. There was no reason for Vick to even be involved in that nonsense and it is quite ignorant of him. Better yet, it's ignorant for anyone to do that to animals.

I don't hate him...but he has probably screwed up his career with this one...He'll be in prison for 6 years, effectively ending his football career...
