The Abarat books by Clive Barker, if he ever gets his act together and continues the series. If you liked Harry Potter, then you will like Abarat.
Personally, I'm waiting for Nikki Sixx's Heroin Diaries (book and soundtrack) which is due out this fall. I've been obsessing ever since I read The Dirt last year.

Well amongst young women these days it seems popular to obsess about ones weight and looks. I wouldn't reccomend either of course for obvious reasons, bulimia or cosmetic surgery won't make you a better person. In fact most obsessions are something one should avoid. As they say you should do everything in moderation.

I'll be back to playing Nintendo Wii and working. Not that I stopped doing either for HP, but at least now I can do both without wondering what is going to happen to Harry!
