My dad and his friend currently are employed as painters. They have been painting for about 20 years. I told my dad that he could probably get contracts straight from contractors because of his experience. He said he would, but his English is not too good. I told him I would try for him, but I don't know how to begin. How do I begin? Do I just start calling general contractors and Realtors and just ask if they need painters until someone says yes?
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

I did this as well during my off season. As a teacher, summers are my time to paint. I contacted a friend who is a realtor and asked to be recommended to her customers before they sell thier home. This is a great way to freshen the look of a room or house giving it curb appeal and first impression appeal.

Keep calling realtors and carpenters who hang drywall, they are all good leads.
