Global warming advocates say that the icebergs will melt, the oceans will rise, and NYC and California will be underwater, and we will have beaches in Ohio.

libregratis: humans adapt their environment. humans have gone to Antarctica and the moon, and Balto in the summer. I think we will figure out a way to "adapt" to longer summers and shorter winters.

Well, it would be hard to go to Broadway musicals if NYC was under water, so I would call that a definite downside. ;-)

But maybe they can bring back synchronized swimming!

gw is a lie, in antarctica, its been getting COLDER over the last 30 years, and its not melting, its getting thicker

there is also no evidence that your so called "global warming" is less a fact of the earths normal weather cycles and more of soccer moms driving SUVs

for the record, there are already beaches in ohio =)

The bad side is rapid and unpredictable localized climate change that most animals could not adapt to quickly enough such as humans.
