That is awful! I had them when I was 18 and was almost hospitalized. The older you are, the worse it is.
My question is, how do you type while wearing oven mitts to keep you from scratching? ;o)

I don't even think they had the chicken pox shot when I was a kid. I got them at 13 and was sick. I still have the scars on my face.

Those are relatively new to get for kids. I take it you've never had chicken pox? You're better off getting the shot in that case, because getting chicken pox as an adult is supposed to really suck- it also makes you susceptible to shingles, which is even worse, so count your blessings!

Never had to have a shot because I had the chicken pox the first week of school in second grade. And promptly gave them to my little brother. I still have scars from it.

I did have the vac shot when I was 2 but right now I'm only 18 I'll be 19 in a few months I hope I don't get the chicken pocks.

Nope i didnt think they had a shot for chicken pox. I think its something alot of kids just go through.

Isn't that shingles when you get them in adulthood?
You know you can get chicken pox more than once if you had a mild dose as a child...or if you had them before the age of 1.
I doubt the vaccine will guarantee you don't get shingles as an adult.

Nope. I got them when I was really young. I still have a round scar on my nose from them. Stupid Pox...
