The Taliban are killing hostages. Al Qaeda is supposedly very strong, planning a major attack, and has sleeper cells in the US. Osama Bin Laden is wanted.

So when does the War on Terror start because I for one really want justice for the people responsible for 9/11.

Seriously! Those libs are calling it off? But if we call it off, then the Taliban will still exist, Al Qeada will be a threat, and OBL will be on the loose.

If you want justice for 9/11, ask the government in power, what they did about dire warnings from Europe and their own agencies FBI and CIA. One of the first things Condo Rice did, was dismiss all the warnings and study groups from the Clinton Administration, when she took over in January 2000, protecting the president from pestering information. And wasn't there a big hole blown into a war ship as a warning from Al Queda in 2000?

The war on Terror is not in Iraq. Only fools like Bush and Cheney think that to be true. The real "war on Terror" is in Afghanistan and Lebanon. Bin Laden is not in Iraq. Before we invaded Iraq twice there were no "Al Qaeda" as you put it in Iraq. If we leave, which Iraqis want us to leave, there will be no Americans left in Iraq to kill. Only Iraqis killing each other, So be it. They need to learn to live in peace or kill each other off for another 40 years as they did before we invaded that country.

I would be pretty happy if they just started looking for Bin Ladin again. I think the oil in Iraq got Bush's head all swimmy.

i've been wondering the same thing. the president sent our troops over there to fight the enemy but the enemy is stronger than ever why? because its not a fight to do away with the enemy, its all about who's going to win the election.our people are dieing because they are not allowed to go after the enemy thats killing them.all of these countries who say they are on our side should be on our side instead of harboring the enemy.they should be helping us to go after them.

I guess it began when Christians started to bomb abortion clinics or was it after Timothy McVeigh?

Maybe after Thomas Jefferson wrote this?

"Is uniformity attainable? Millions of innocent men, women and children since the introduction of Christianity have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned, yet we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia Q.XVII, 1782. ME 2:223
