I never see this show but got home from work early yesterday and it was on. Why would people give up there cases and let a TV Judge decide their fate? She just ends up ripping someone a new ****** in front of millions of people.

Both sides are compensated for appearing on the show. That's typically the motivation. Even the loser gets something.

they get paid a small fee, and some people are just that desperate for attention that they're willing to look like a jacka** an national tv for their five mintues of fame.

Some people just go there because they're her fans. I don't know why they think her yelling at them is a fun thing, but it does something for some people.
