16-(3-9b)=7b+5 --> Write the problem.
16-3+9b=7b+5 --> Distribute -1 into 3-9b.
13+9b=7b+5 --> Subtract 16 and 3.
13+2b=5 --> Subtract 7b on both sides of the equation.
2b=-8 --> Subtract 13 on both sides of the equation.
b=-4 Divide 2 on both sides of the equation.
So the answer is b=-4.
