The most succesful species ever are ants and bees. They do not have leaders. They decide through a majority. Power always corrupts and total power (Bush) corrupts total. Just because we had for a long time life feudal system and now 4 year feudal system and are used to it, dosn't make it good. Your thoughts?

New research shows, that we can learn from the decision making forms of ants and bees. It's called higher intelligents of masses, compared to individuals. And to some, queens have no authority, they are breeding machines.

Without organization there would be chaos. Correction, ants and bees do have leadership but live in a collective society. Bush does not have total power, we have a balance of powers in this democratic republic. The feudal system failed. My thoughts are that you just need to move deep into a forest region and live wild and see if your feudal system works. Good luck.

If you think we live in a police state, you need to read more about people like Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Mussolini, Peron, Castro, and Franco just to name a few.
Bear in mind that most ants and bees are both species that are totally incapable of survival as individuals. There is no single bee or ant that can both collect material and process it into an edible form. Human beings can, and do.
If that's not enough, remember that most ants and bees are asexual.
If you still want to be an ant or a bee, I recommend you get psychological counseling.
So, to answer your question about my thoughts, I think I just wasted my time responding to an idiot's question.

I have to answer this question from my knowledge of the beginning - the Bible. God was the only leader that was needed, but the people of God - the Isrealites asked Him for a leader. It was not something 'he' wanted for them, but they insisted and God is so good and so kind that He gave them what they wanted...soon they found that the ruler was evil and treated them unkindly. And from that day forward - man has always decided that someone had to 'be over him' to control his actions and ways and 'govern him'.
I honestly believe that if a man does not know God and have the love of Jesus in his heart, he does not know how to properly rule another. You can look at a man's own home and determine if he can rule others or not. Power does corrupt and there are some mighty greedy people in the world. Have you noticed that when these mayor's, etc. get in office - the first thing they do is GIVE THEMSELVES A RAISE!
It is never good that a man in office (or woman) does not think of the people first.

power does not corrupt. Corrupt people are attracted to power like moths to fire. The more corrupt they are the greater power they seek. GWB is really, really corrupt. (maybe it's Cheney that's corrupt and Bush is just the dummy that sits on his lap)
Your analogy of the ant colony has one flaw, ants have no personal agenda whereas people do. as long as that is the case the populous is not capable of deciding what is best for society at large.

With out any form of organization things would be chaotic. Think about it. no police, cause the government pays for that service. not only that but the government pays for many good and services believe it or not.

I wish I knew that!
BTW not even that majority is good enough. Why would one comply with a bunch of ignorant's decision after all? It just doesn't make sense.
