Jim Morrison died at 27 on the 3rd July 1971 from a heart attack brought on by taking a large quanity of drugs!

he died in july 1971.
the exact date is a bit sketchy so the date was recorded as the 3rd.
there are a couple of stories regarding his death.
one is that he died of a heart attack while having a bath.
the other is that he od on heroin in a paris nightclub and was dragged home while pamela and a couple of friends tried to revive him in the bath.
i am a massive doors fan and as i get older i tend to lean towards the accidental overdose.
he drank a lot and took drugs but he was still only 27 and if you look at the other stars of the time that died, hendrix and joplin , i just feel that it was the overdose that maybe caused a heart attack.
pamela supposedly told a friend that he had tried her heroin and as he wasnt used to it , tradgedy occured.
there is a rancher in america claiming that he is jim morrison, and that he faked his death cause he was sick of it all?
i doubt it.
he was buried in pere la chaise cemetery in paris where it is near impossible to get the rights for a exhumation to see if he is really there.

Jim Morrison died on 3rd July 1973 in his bathtub in Paris,France. There is only a few accounts of his death which are either heart attack and/or from a Heroin overdose in his bath, however nobody really knows because there was never an offical autospy over his death.

1971. Drug-related heart failure. He died the same year as Joplin and Hendrix and they were all 27.
BTW, Kobain was 27 when he died, which some people think is significant. Nikki Sixx was 27 when he died back in 1987, but he's still walking around.

I'd always heard it was alcohol poisoning....Janis died from heroin.....what did Hendrix die from? Drugs?
