Well, I'm not sure it's going to be 2007, but I think 3007 is a little ridiculous.
What confuses me, is that you criticize Yankee fans for being obnoxious, or for not knowing anthing about baseball, but yet you ask questions like this, that are clearly meant to agitate. With all the Yankee fan-baiting that goes on, maybe people have to wonder why some of us appear to be jerks at times.
As you have pointed out ad nauseum, the Yankees have not won "this century", but I'll take 2000 over 1984 any time;)

dam i guess you like to get Yankee fans mad huh lol well 3007 it kind of ridiculous this year maybe not but in 3007 no way I'm going to be dead by then and i want to see the new york Yankees win the WS but they have been playing great baseball wining all there series so far and humiliating D-Rays pitching and Kansas city pitching so all is good so far

Haha, that's right. Also, Yankees fans can't argue saying they HAD a better team than the Tigers in the past because the past means nothing. Also, I'D rather have a World Series win in 1984 than a World Series win in 2000 where the 2000 team was BOUGHT.

As much as I hate to say it many Yankee fans will be happy the next week or so because they have an easy schedule. Then after that 5 of 6 series are against Detroit, LAA, Cleveland and Boston.

yeah and maybe in 3007 "The Rocket" might still be playing with the yanks if some weird tonic thing is invented specally for him allowing him to pitch till then lol but I'm narrowing it down to either Red Sox or Tigers in the AL and the METS or BRAVES in the NL

Mark your calender - August 10th. That is when the Yankees play an opponent with a winning record for the first time since July 8th. That is right - the Yankees go over a month with playing opponents with sub .500 records. That is when this "hot" streak will end - and you can start planning your Octobers around the crappy Giants and Jets.

I'm a Yankees fan through and through, but I'm also not a sheep. With the exception of A-rod, we're not having a very hot year (and we all know one man can't carry the team).
I hate to say it (*gulp*), but the Red Sox are having a phenomenal year, and I think we're going to see an '04 World Series repeat!

aint got nothing? our offence is ranked NUMBER ONE in all of baseball in every category and our new recruits from toledo are better then yankees starters (ryan raburn, mike rabelo, matt hessman) go look up numbers son
and for our pitching u have to be kidding me?
Kenny rogers? zomg he is insane
Bonderman and Verlander are only getting better and the same with Andrew Miller
Nate Robertson is improving and become more stable
and as for our bullpen
once zumayo becomes healthy and fernando rodney returns to his old self and the durbinator returns to we gonna own hands down
only competition is cleveland mets brewers and boston
