I think if there is a reason you are in sereate rooms then perhaps you could casually mention during the day that you grew concerned when you heard whatever noise and just wanted to let her know that if she needs you that you are there. However, if it isn't a moan of pain or something then it could lead to a embarrassing situation for the 2 of you.
