Yes. It should be otherwise it can develop cracks easier and become discolored. It can also become a growing point for mold, etc if it is not sealed. For places like showers and bathroom floors it becomes even more important because it can help prevent leaks that can do damage to your house.

It doesn't take long at all to seal the tile. Just get the spray can. It works a lot faster than the little roller applicator. They have the spray cans of it at Lowe's.

I have heard pro and con but personally if the area is subject to a lot of grease or heavy soil by all means seal it. A pro once told me it changes the grout coloring and creates a regrouting problem,but so does grout stained with grease or heavy soil.

Yes.. Grout sealer cost about $10 and is easy to apply. You must use it but wait at least a day after the grout drys.

It doesn't have to be, but its best to seal it. Helps to keep it clean and protected .
