Apple cider vinegar is a cure for acid reflux...?

Sounds like an old wives tale to me, sorry. Vinegar especially wouldn't help at all.

Apple cider vinegar is great for a lot of things, but I think it would exacerbate acid reflux. It's very acidic itself, so I can only imagine that it would make things worse.

If you can get over the taste of apple cider vinegar, you will find it one of the most important natural remedies in healing the body.
Apple cider vinegar is showing great promise in helping to heal ulcers, since it activates the body to start its own defensive mechanism.

You may also try aloe vera juice, it works well also, but I have seen Apple Cider vinegar help me in so many ways. I have used it for ear aches, I have used it on my feet, I have given it to countless patients that have suffered from the same issues you are describing. You will need to use at lease a table spoon, and you may want to mix it with something to make it a pallet able taste for yourself. You can also buy it in capsule form, and this works well also.

Aloe vera Juice has traditionally used as a digestive aid or folk remedy for arthritis, stomach ulcers, diabetes and many other conditions. You may try this as well.

Good luck to you!

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=568

Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.

Yes, but you have to use the organic stuff which is cloudy. In about 90% of the patients I have recommended it for, it works almost on contact. For my fiance, it works before it hits the stomach. Here's a great resource: Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar Diet

YES IT DOES! That's what I take it for. Most people mix it with 8 ounces of water...but I am a sissy...so I take a teaspoon in the mornings and chase it with water. Reflux disappeared for me every time...at least 10-15 minutes later.

Here's a great site with LOTS of feedback about it...from others!! Scroll down to read how many people use ACV for it!!

GOOD LUCK!! :) And if you can...use Bragg's brand. I got a bottle yesterday for $2.50 at my health food store.
