Questions relating to God should be posted in the Religion, Spirituality, or Mythology sections of Yahoo Questions and Answers. Here you should only expect scientific responses.
The Big Bang Theory is a fairly good explanation for how everything began. A number of factors seem to point to this as being the best possible explanation; similarity of composition of various objects in space, uniform direction of movement of objects in space, and uniform expansion away from a central point.
Myths from the old days when mankind could be easily appeased by a short story have lost their plausibility long ago.

Once upon a time, the Big Bang created god. Then god created the universe.
Yeah...THAT'S IT !!!!!
Now be a good boy and go to sleep.

The universe was created from love. The Most High Creator existed in triple darkness before space existed. Love for the light caused an explosion and the universe has not stop growing and creating since that moment.
