There is not better or worst, just different, things are very different. I am Mexican, I don't like US, for me I prefer Mexico, and definitely if I had to leave my country I would be wherever except US. No black and whites, the grays exist and I feel some stuffs in the US are an example but alot of them are extremely freak out. I don't like the idea that American people has about Mexico, Mexico is not only Tijuana and Cancun, that is why I like Canadian and European tourist, cos they travel (really not going to Resorts) and they have a better perspective and they are not our next neighbor, it is less probable that a person from those regions made stupid questions or judgments that make you laugh as sometimes US people do. (sorry but that has been my experience) Things are different and that's why is more interesting to discover them. Difference is not something wrong

Well being from the U.S.A. I ave to go with that. However, from an exterior observation it would still be the same thing. The U.S. has a higher education, healthcare, economic, and government ability than Mexico. We also have a lower rate of infant mortality.

Mexico is still an underdeveloped country and still living on the largess of it's northern neighbors.

But what is most telling is U.S. citizens are nt trying to escape poverty by fleeing to Mexico, however Mexicans are.

So much for those "socialist" Europeans and those "backward" Asians, hm?

We can do better than this.

Miscellany:

*Only 18% of Americans own passports and bother to travel outside of the US.

* 85% of US soldiers in Iraq believe that they are there to get revenge for 9/11.

* New international student enrollment in US grad schools has decreased by 6%, because of xenophobic post-9/11 US visa restrictions, jacked-up tuition fees and better educational opportunities in the EU and Asia. So no, not everyone wants to come here anymore, because it's become a land of incredibly limited opportunity, and we've lowered our educational standards.

I prefer to live in the USA. Whether it is better it depends on the individual. Based on migration, many people throughout the world seemed to prefer coming to USA.
