Every stupid thing Bush has done is ridiculous, illegal, unconstitutional, unjustifiable or immoral. Bush never had any intention of capturing binLaden because of his family's financial ties to the binLaden family.
Just as millions of young men joined the U.S. Army after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, AlQaeda has seen more men join its forces to defend against the bully Bush, who attacked another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.
Bush, and the people behind-the-scenes who control his every move, intended to invade Iraq since the day Bush moved into the White House, all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. -RKO- 07/25/07

Paul, Bush started this war not for the safety of the American people or that of the western world but for oil and his dislike of one man Saddam. He dose not want to capture Bin Laden because America will have no enemy and he will not be able to get laws passed that are supposed to be against the terrorist but are really a way to keep the US people down. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 until bush made it look like it had. I hope the American people can make sure not to let anyone like him into the white house again, because people around the world have no say on who gets in the white house but when they start wars it affects us all. Good luck David Aus

Why indeed did the opportunity pass? and to bring about such a backlashing. Why do servants fail? And who is their master claiming? Who has been his mentor(s) Why have they been excluded from the picture? Did they scatter when they knew the backlashing was sure to come? I think when you blame only one person for the decision, that in itself is one sided. The decision was apparently made by a ( GROUP ) decision, not one man out there.

Bingo! Give the man a cigar!
Actually, had Bush any brains, he would have gotten Saddam Husain's help in hunting Ossama down, since the two hated each other. Shows you what happens when our president has an IQ if 110.
