Yep, that is a violation but I would report it. It's filled with good intentions. Basically, you are not suppose to start conversation and you need to have an actual question.
You should go to politics...you'd get violated like an intern in the Clinton administration!

No but going into the politics section is a violation, everyone gets at least one violation notice a day in there.

Got mine too! On my asking if those who signed the sports illustrated petition regarding Vick's animal abuse also signed the one for NIKE.
Technically-you didn't ask a Q--you should have phrased it "would you like a hug?" So yeah, you have a little troll trying to get you suspended--I see nothing wrong with your being friendly--it's rare on Y!A. And technically, I DID post an actual link to the petition to NIKE. But I think the issue was very important............

They were probably offended, considering their miserable every second of the day. I have yet to hear that two violations in one day will lead to a letter for jury duty for an OJ type trial. Rest easy.
