I understand what you're getting at, it is weird and suspicious.
I'm amazed that the police haven't been checking out these weirdos.
What person attacks a family that have lost a child and does so with venom and delight.

Excited as in gossiping and wanting to know the details . . . or excited as in ecstatic or happy? Anyone who is happy is a very sick individual. Those who thrive on the gossip usually still find the event tragic but are far enough away from the mourning family that it doesn't affect their lives.
For example (although not a child) there was a murder last year in my area of a very well known contractor. No one was "happy" about it, but exchanging the latest evidence and gossip was exciting. It was also very normal there was no one who didn't want to talk about it . . . but never once did someone say they were happy about the murder.

I would personally see that they are sectioned under the mental health act!! this kind of behaviour shows denial or psychiatric problems

I would find anyone who takes delight in a child missing to be abnormal.
However to question the parents motives and actions on that night is in my opinion relevant to the case and maybe finding Madeleine alive.
I might not be a fan of the parents but I would never gain enjoyment from any child being hurt or abused.
I also will not condone child neglect and in my opinion that's what the parents did to their 3 children that night.
