How do I gain access to a web site to make administative changes.?

Hi,

I have my own website that I designed on Yahoo. My web site is going to be working with another site on another server to which I have to program graphics and text.

The web master said that I was free to make what ever changes of the web site on their server then proceeded to give me a user name and password.

What do I do with this username and password?
Where can I log on to gain access to this web site to which I can make some updates?
Can I gain access by typing something additional to the web address?

Well you need the username and password to make any changes so we can tick that from the check list. Now first you need to know what is the host website where you can use the username and password. It will be a site where you can register your site address or host your site. Once you log into that site it might have tools online which enable you to make changes or else there are FTP tools available which allow you to do that as well for which once again you need to find the ftp address of your site( ftp:\\yoursite.com or something similar on the host can tell you that). get in touch with the host website and usually they have a lot of tools and support quite readily available.
