We don't have the resources to check the quality of these imports, and the risks are growing each day. I would rather have less choices and pay a little bit more,than risk my health and welfare to second rate products. How do you feel about this?

I don't like it at all. I agree with you. We should import what we can check, and not any more than that. I know it might raise prices on a few items, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

There is no excuse for this. People over 50 have a hard time finding jobs. College students need good temporary jobs. Woman often need jobs when the kids leave home. How about a creative solution to this problem! Spend the money and open hiring to experienced and educated people.

I agree. We must employ more inspectors. I say plant your own veggies and fruit. Fish for your own fish and salmon.

We can not trust what is shipped to the American public!

Wonderful question! This seems like another avenue to channel tax dollars to create jobs to keep our food source safe.

read the label, and set a better table, if it says made in china don't buy it, pass it up.
