what are the laws on smoking.........?

cigarettes where you live???? Here in N.Y. you cannot smoke in most businesses! Only in bars that don't serve food! Do you remember when they used to smoke everywhere, even in a court of law? I don't , but I have seen movies like this.....

in England there is no smoking in any public building whatsoever. unless of course your on fire

In Toronto Canada, there's no smoking in bars or public places, almost everywhere has a designated smoking area, a million miles away from where you'd want to be, in the dark, in the rain, in the cold, it's like they're tucking us under a rock or something.

Yeah, Here In IL. You Can't Smoke Within 50 Ft. of a Business Building. Can't Smoke in Bars. 50 Ft From them Too. Can't Smoke in Clubs Eaither. It's Flippin Nuts. I hate It. >_<

cant smoke in any public place here in Scotland, had the ban for 18 months now, no bars nothing, only outside in the street, you cannot even smoke in your own home if a plumber or someone is coming, for an hour before their appointment

I live in Wales in Britain and we can't smoke anywhere publically, no bars, pubs, train station, bus stops, anywhere! It's a bitmuch when you don't have the right to do what you want in your own country. Of course, Britain is no longer a "free country".

i think that you can only smoke in your car or home and you cant be smoking like 50 ft in front of a buisness..but i recently visited kentucky for vacation and their were people smoking in gas stations and i saw a few people evan smoking in an arbys

In Arkansas you cannot smoke in any public building, or in your own car if you have a child in a kiddie seat.
