Do Dems believe in hurting poor families and wasting your hard earned taxes? It sure seems that way.
The Dems in Congress are trying to stop the state of Illinois from saving $1 Billion, which they will give to poor kids and moms who are on welfare. Why????
The Dems in DC are trying to stop the state from saving $1 Billion by improving its computer systems and outsourcing AFSCME union jobs.
Already the state has discovered and stopped 1,000 checks that go to illegal claims in just one county.
So the Dems would rather hurt poor people and waste your hard earned money in order to support unions. Sound very sad?
Thank God that President Bush might veto this waste.

Illinois..Obama's state...how else can he collect/survive without taking pact-money??...perhaps from Unions??
the Union will turn around and spread it to democrat election campaigns...it is campaign fund fraud that they dismiss and laugh off...until the news cycle looks at something else
but if Delay did something...it's an outrage..hypocrites

In Washington, its all about special interests. Both parties have them, and both parties have to pay their dues.
This initiative was estimated to save tax payers $500 million over the next ten years, but apparently, Democrats hold a higher allegiance to unions than to tax payers. This measure not only impacts Illinois, but 21 other states who have been wise enough to realize that they can save tax payer money while at the same time improving quality by privatizing certain services.
Unions have long supported the Democratic party, and the reasons why are pretty clear. Why?
- this fiasco
- the mis-named Employee Free Choice Act,
- the Democrat's most recent budget, where the only department to receive a budget CUT is the one responsible for investigating union corruption.
But, as I said, both parties have their puppeteers.
