I mean how many of us have at one time or another looked in our pockets only to be surprised and exclaim,
"OMG...what is this cocaine doing in my pocket? It's NOT mine".

Wasn't there an old axiom...
"Possession is 9/10's of the law."?

@ Mr. Taco
and so, as her Defense Lawyer, you have now presented to the Jury the "beyond a resonable doubt" factor which will probably get that charge tossed out.

I think it was definately hers. Why would she "hold" it for someone else? Most people would not "hold" narcotics for someone. She needs to grow up and take responsibility for her actions.

The possibility is definitely there that it was not hers, especially if she was in a fight with someone. Her assistant and her were fighting, and that easily could be a motivation to slip something into her pocket. BUT... I am not assuming that happened. It would be just as much a motivation to lie and SAY someone slipped it to you if you really DID have it. Cops are going to have to figure this one out. There is no way for us to know what really happened. I am assuming NOTHING.

If it was in her possession either in her vehicle or on her person the law states that it is hers.Unless someone wants to admit putting it into her vehicle without her knowledge or asking her to hold it without her having any idea what it might be.Since it was on her person the odds of proving it wasn't hers are almost zero.
