I think Bonds will be the leader in homeruns near the end of the season. However, even though he is the leader, he will never break the record, for he did use steroids for a lot of the homeruns. Hank Aaron didn't. He is sending a message to everyone else that if they want to break a record USE STEROIDS, because MLB won't take away all that you've accomplished they'll just suspend you. No problem. 10-20 game out of a 162 game season is nothing.
BONDS WILL NEVER BREAK, ONLY LEAD.

At this rate in 2 years. I wish he'd just get it over with so the games I care about don't have to keep getting interupted by Bonds groundouts. Just one of the many reason I hate watching basebase on any other channel besides NESN.

Bonds will never break the homerun record! He used steriods to get all him homeruns which means he cheated and so his homeruns don't count...Bonds is along way away from breaking Randy Johnson's homerun record which is exactely 1

Yes, I think Bonds will take the homerun record considering he has used steriodes and this probably isnt his last year playing.

well it took 21 AB's to get 2 homers. he's 3 from breaking. i say it'll take 15 games to break the record and 7 to tie.

Yes, he will before the season ends. I still had hope when he was in Chicago that he wouldn't with him being hurt in all. But, Ted Lilly and Will Ohman had to give him two homers in the same game against the Cubs. I am a Cubs freak and I have never been more ashaimed in my life.

It doesnt matter. 95% of the Baseball world wont even aknowledge it anyway.
In 5 or so years A-rod will be breaking it anyway. And that will be nice.
