pi is equal to the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter.
Try it for yourself, just make sure your measurements are correct. You'll really never get the exact value of this, that's why pi is irrational.

Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to it's diameter and this is not an exact number such as 3.14. More exact would be 3.14159 if I remember correctly. But pi is a transcendental number, it never repeats. I have included a source that you might like to read, it looks pretty good.

try it it's actually 22 divided by 7 try to divide it to the end with no remainder and no rounding just simple division it goes on forever 3.15 is rounded up to the next hundreths place but really that's not the correct answer and it's why we say approximately

pi is infinite. there is no way to calculate it exactly, but only because is has no end. there are formulas that allow you to calculate it exactly to as many digits as you want, however.
