Even though Clinton's lead currently in opinion polls is staggering, I feel as though she is vulnerable, and overall: Not electable to the general populus.
That said, It's Al Gore's race to steal. He's been biding his time, but hasn't ruled out running for office.
There are a few scenarios that I can see playing out:
1) Clinton doesn't put her foot into her mouth, and Gore does not run - Leaving Clinton with the Democratic nod, and eventually a ticket of Clinton/Richardson or Clinton/Biden will win the presidency.
2) Gore does run, brings Obama as his VP, and serves two terms.
3) Clinton gets exposed, and Gore does not run, leave the door open for Barak Obama. Obama takes the grizzled old veteren with him (Joe Biden) and win the election, but is vulnerable in 2012 when Jeb Bush runs against him.
4) Granted, this is a long shot: Gore doesn't run, Hillary falls from grace, and Obama's inexperience costs him: The Dems hand the nod to Bill Richardson. If Richardson runs he will likely lose to either Thompson, or Giuliani.

Dare I say, Hope it's not any of the front-runners?.... I just don't know that any of them, Democratic or Republican, are what we need right now.
I'd like to hear more out of Edwards & maybe see him get more aggressive... he has appeals across party lines & I think the Dems should utilize that.
Personally, I've never been so undecided myself.

Too early to tell. It will depend on who the nomimees actually are, and who they pick as their running mates.
