Hey I'm President of Honor Society and every year, we go on a trip in mid-May. We always rent a bus like Yankee Trails to get there. We live in upstate New York, so the trip shouldn't take more than 6 hours. Do you have any suggestions on where we should go and/or what to do when we get there? Overnight suggestions are okay too, because we might do that! Thanks in advanced!

by the way, it's important to know that i'm president so that you know i get to make the decisions. i hope that's a good "wake up call"

Depending on where you live in upstate New York, Boston, New York, Philadelphia or Washington ought to work fine. All are filled with good historical stuff, which ought to please your parents, and have the potential for fun as well. Assuming most of you haven't visited those cities, it's easy to check out the usual locations. For example, New York has a boat trip around Manhattan, Ground Zero/financial district, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, etc.

why is is so important that we know you are the president of the honor society? No one out of high school cares, not even employers. They didnt even care when I went to college. Maybe you should take a trip to the real world to see where you will be when you get out of high school. that would probably do you kids some good (yes I was in honor society in both high school and college and it never mattered) Good luck in life....its a real wake up call
