Without Troy Smith, 80% of their offense last year, what makes you think you can even score a touchdown?

Lets be realistic here, Troy Smith was a HUGE, HUGE loss to your offense. Now you have a unproven ROOKIE coming in.

They won't stink. Although i don't think they will make it to any BCS bowl games, they will make it to a respectable bowl. 8-3, 7-4 will be a good record for a team that accomplished so much last season.

Troy Smith is not the only QB at OSU. So they lost 80% of their offense last year. They are returning a great defense and build around that. The offense will rebuild, like every other college team in the NCAA.

Stink? In the medicore Big Ten? OSU could easily finish
9-3, 10-2, 11-1 or 12-0. The only threats are Michigan, Wisconsin and Maybe Penn State..

OSU recruits as well as anyone to restock the roster every year.

This is definitely a rebuilding year, but they have a pretty easy non-conference schedule (compared to last year), so I think they can still win at least 10 games. The defense will be back and better than last year.
They also lost Ginn, Pittman, and Gonzalaz which will hurt.
If we are being realistic, I think they'll be able to score a touchdown this year.
They can still go 1-12 and have a great season by beating that team up north AGAIN!

Because there isn't sh*t going on in Columbus but Buckeye Football.
You take that away and they have nothing else to do.
They have no pro team to root for (they usually root for the Ohio team that's doing the best). Right now, a majority of them are Bungals fans. Back when the Browns were good they rooted for them.

Because we have Coach Jim Tressel who is a fine man and motivator - and OSU recruits some of the best in the land and then teach them - and because we ARE the Buckeye Nation - we love our Buckeyes and whether it is a year of transition or a year of championships - once a Buckeye always a Buckeye!

Go Bucks!

Because they are use to the clubs boosters getting any top player they want. In the big ten with an unproven QB. Good Luck with that!

1) Michigan
2) Iowa
3) Purdue
4) Ohio State
