I use the Kaboom produst that attatches into the water system inside the toilet. If you clean really well before you put it in there it does a great job. You just have to give the rime and seat a wipe with a clorox wipe. It is also great cause if they forget to close the toilet, it doesn't stink but smells like bleach. As for the baby tub, I cleaned it out with 1 capful of bleach and filled it with water. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse. That way, if the baby had an accident, I know that all the bacteria is all dead. Turn it upside down to dry or go set it in the sunlight for the day..

I use bleach in the bathroom and that's about all... I fill my bathtub up with really hot water and pour about 2-3 cups of bleach in it and let it sit, sometimes overnight...I have a spray bottle 50/50 water and bleach and I spray the tub surround to get rid of mold/mildew on my tile surround. I also pour about 1-2 C. in my toilet bowl and let that sit as well.. Just remember to flush the next morning if you let it sit, so that if someone uses it they don't get gassed out of the bathroom from fumes... Bleach + Ammonia(urine) = FUMES.. I let the tub drain and rinse walls/tub and swish the toilet water around and flush. If my tub is really stained, which is rare.. I use soft scrub w/ bleach.. Also, using the bleach in the tub helps keep the drain clear of hair and soap clogs w/o ruining pipes...You can use the 50/50 bleach solution to clean the baby bath just rinse it well before use ! I usually mop with a disinfectant bathroom cleaner.... Just don't mix products.. In the morning/evening I do a wipe down with antibacterial wipes.. Bleach is pretty cheap and good all around the house.. Good luck and be well.

Scrub the toilet with Comet or Ajax and let it sit a while. Then flush to rinse. After that, put a little Clorox in the water and swish it around to kill germs. Let it sit a while before flushing. Never mix household chemicals together.
For the infant tub, I would clean with Clorox and rinse well.

You know I would clean both with very few chemicals, or non at all. The toilet is porcelon so wiping it with an anti bacterial soap is a good idea.
The baby tub you got to be careful not to introduce any chemicals to your childs immune system. The crib you need to constantly wipe down the areas the most your child comes in touch with. You may want to clean the wooden crib with distilled water and a little lemon juice.

Use an antibacterial cleaner such as Clorox antibacterial for the bathroom. It is sold in supermarkets and places like dollar store chains. It works really well in cleaning and disinfecting.

Soap is soap.
Especially for your infants bathtub, I would use the same shampoo or body wash that you use for your child. You know it is safe for your baby, and it will clean just the same.

Use a disinfectant of some sort (you can find several to choose from at the grocery store), but be sure you rinse it well afterward.

Lysol.....spend the money and buy a good disinfectant like Lysol brand does.....they make tons of products, most are harmless to a hamster, but they also make "baby safe" products for consumers like you.......
Lysol is the best, though.
