Tell him you are torqued up about this work. You do not like to be forced into the thinking of the masses. His authority can pulley some weight; but you have the potential energy to make a dynamic impact. Your first impulse may help spring you into action. Keep up the momentum!!

Just play dumb and blame it on 'Nobody.' He breaks everything at my house. Sometimes Not Me comes through and eats all the ice cream, but it's always Nobody who breaks things.
