No I don't think so... I still believe in opposite attracts. I believe every individual is unique and to meet someone who is exactly the same as me is scary. The best part of a relationship is to discover about the other person and to learn from the person strengths. If the person is exactly the same as me there is nothing left to discover and we can then save the conversation. Don't even need to communicate cause with just a blink of an eye the other person would know what we are thinking about.
As for getting along I think the clash will be greater. If both person has a strong character and refuse to compromise... I would imagine that the relationship will enter into war zone!

First of all, I don't think there is anyone exactly like me out there. Fortunately, we come in all flavours, and I very much like it that way. :-)
But let's entertain the thought...I would be able to get along with said person, but it would be dull to be with another version of myself.
There wouldn't be the excitement of discovery, learning from someone else in many walks of life, listening to different experiences, seeing life from someone else's views and truthfully, part of my internal growth is related to what I learn from all of the individuals that come into my life, with the good and not-so-pleasant experiences.

Thank goodness there is no-one exactly like me. I have trouble getting along with people who are "almost" like me. I feel there has to be differences in people as well as common interests. How else can we learn from one another and grow?

I think it would depend on what kind of person you are. If you are a person who operates by conflict, then you wouldn't get along. If you are a person who generally gets along with everybody, then you'd get along with your double.

IT YOU FOUND SOMEONE EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU IT WOULD BE BORING. LIKE IF YOU MET SOMEONE THE OPPOSITE OF YOU THAT ENJOY DIFFERENT THINGS AND INVITE YOU TO EXPERIENCE THESE THINGS, THERE IS ALL THIS EXCITEMENT , VERSES BEING SOMEONE THE SAME AS YOU. NOTHING NEW BROUGHT TO THE TABLE, FOR SAY.
