Yes, your PC supports dual channel mode. The RAM sticks should be plugged to the right DIMM slots to run dual channel. Dual channel increase memory bandwidth, thus reducing bottlenecks. More here:

You dont have to activate dual channel .. it is something in the hardware .. u have to use 2 memory sticks of the same kind on the right slots and dual channel configures itself.. all mobo's support it today .. especially all the ones with DDR2 ........

Okay let me get each question individually. Dual channel allows the bandwidth to effectively double, which is a very good thing. It is activated automatically as long as your motherboard supports it and you use matching sticks. Your motherboard will support it. Just make sure you put the sticks into two matching color banks.
