Problems with Ipod?

I have a 5th generation, 30g video Ipod. I didn't have any problems with it for the first 9 months. Now, it will shut down and restart every so often. I didn't mind it at first but now it happened 3 times in 5 minutes. It's getting frustrating. Has anyone else had this problem? Will it cost me money to fix? Please help.

I have heard of the problem but never experienced myself. That could be caused by many things. If I was you I would try doing a factory restore through iTunes before you seek repair through Apple. If after the restore it continues, then you will have to get it repaired through Apple, and unless it's in warranty then you will be paying for it.
