can it work if i Insert a SATA2 hard drive into my com with already have 2 IDE hard drive?

if i install SATA2 drive into it, will it automatically become the master drive?

Yes you can ... if you don't have sata ports, then u can add a PCI - sata card..

If you have a SATA connector, you can add SATA drives.
If not, you can add a PCI card to give you the SATA connectors

Once installed, you may have to go into the BIOS of your computer and set it to use the SATA drive as the master for booting. Depending on the BIOS, it may or may not be automatic.

If your motherboard has SATA connectors it can. You will most likely have to change settings in the BIOS to make it boot from SATA drive first if you are going to use it as your O.S. drive.

Yes you can. You either need SATA connectors on the Motherboard, or a SATA card.

yes go ahead it has to work. Make sure that the Mother Board has the rite chipset designed for supporting Serial ATA 2, and of course it has the rite slots available.

That depends upon ur computer's Mother board driver is that board compatible for SATA HDD or not
