Bonds is just not a very friendly guy. His personality leaves a lot to be desired and he is not liked by management, players, or the press. He has no problem blowing off the fans that pay to see him and that includes kids as well. Unless he is looking for some good publicity, you will never see him sign an autograph and he would not speak to you if you just happened to run across him somewhere. He would be a jerk with or with out an earring, but he is a great ball player.
