I have stuff in my life I would hate to be dragged up & exposed......we all have skeletons of one sort or another.
It's not just my life that would have me worrying, but that the papers don't stop there, they'd drag up my extended families lives as well.
ooooooh! dread the thought.
I'm off now *cringing & squirming*

No way and I cringe at the idea. That's how bad I've been.
Lol!
Question:
Why give someone a thumbs down for being honest? Are there so many sanctimonious people on here who have done nothing wrong?. never fear your time to live will come, as did mine at the age of forty.
To put the record straight I've never hurt anyone mugged stolen anything associated with crime. Mine is getting divorced but how...now thats a story.

Yep. I am an intrinsically boring person, never been arrested etc. I do, however, have "relatives" that would probably go straight to The Sun and try to peddle their deranged fantasies. That wouldn't bother me too much either, I have no respect for liars.

Almost all of us have skeletons in the closet. I have a few grave yards in mine. I would shun publicity not so much for my own sake but for the fall-out on others around me.

skiddoo, sorry to hijack your question and use it as a forum but 'Ms Principle's' - that is a bit shocking about the daily mail and shows something is definately very underhand. when has an incident in another country about a british citizen ever stopped a newspaper reporting about it simply because it is in another country? are the daily mail going to stop reporting the iraq war then because its in another country???

I'd hide, because I've made so many mistakes in my life that to have to relive them over and over again, would send me over the edge.

Well if you find a volunteer the Daily Mail would love to hear some of our views about the McCanns I've just phoned them and asked why they haven't picked up on what most of us are thinking and they said someone would have to contact them with all the details but did mention that because it's happening in Portugal it might be difficult How convenient for Gerry no wonder he won.t come back here COWARD
