Messiah was a Hebrew - I will explain - but; first I have to tell you this:
Our Messiah's name - his true name that is the only name that one can call upon to acquire salvation - is Yahshau.
Yahshua means ... ; Yahweh is Salvation.
Yahweh (YHWH) is the name of our creator - so ... when you call on the son (Yahshua) you also call upon Yahweh at the very same time.
With that out the way and most likely totally denied by all god loving christians - I will explain the best I can - so you can see where the Messiah comes from ... and no - he did not come down from heaven into a womb so he could be killed - raise himself and then sit AT HIS OWN RIGHT HAND ... as many christians would have you believe ...
In Genesis, chapter 10 it starts out with a geneology ... says Noah begat so and so - and so and so begat so and so ... so and so begat so and so and so and so ...then talks a bit about Nimrod - who is the founder of the Babylon Mystery Religion that is also on the head band of the whore that sits on seven hills - the whore is the catholic church and the catholic church admits it in their older St. Joseph editions of their scriptures ... with the center reference ... some where around the 1945 edition ... anyway.
These begats so and so and begat so and so -
Is the begining of the geneology or blood line that goes to Yahshua Messiah ...
You can see the same thing in the so called New Testiment - except it kind of picks up from where it left off in the so called Old Testiment.
Shows the blood line right down to Miriam and Yahseph (Joseph) our Messiah's flesh and blood father. I do not want to get into that conversation - as it is clearly written as well that Messiah's Mother ALSO HAD OTHER BROTHERS AND SUCH AFTER YAHSHUA WAS BORN ...
And yet ...
The catholics want you to believe that she is still a virgin ... after having several children.
Anyway - Messiah's bloodline is clearly shown in the scriptures - even shows some had to be put out of their missery because they were trying to defile the blood line by breaking the commandments ... and they lost their lives because of it - the blood line to Yahshua had to be kept pure.
Anyway - Yahshua was Hebrew - further ...
The word or term jew came about mostly with Hitler. He called them a jew ... like idiots call black people "*******" and Mexican's "greasers" and/or etc.
Jew is a racial slur and getting more correct -
Our Messiah was actually entitled; a "Yahdaim" which means one who prays with upraised hands - a son or daughter of Yahweh.
Our Creator's name was removed from the scriptures over 6,888 times. You can see in Jeremiah chapter 23:26-27 - in the last of verse 27 it clearly states that Our Father's name was FORGOTTEN FOR BAAL ... some versions even tell you Lord or lord ... as Baal = lord or Lord in english.
My messiah was named Yahshua and he was Hebrew.
Hope this helped clear the waters some - I did not intend to confuse anyone with the facts ...
Peace;
Aintmyfault

He was.
But he became more.
The story of Jesus takes him to Egypt sometime around the age of 13. He apparently stayed there until his return at the age of 30. Egypt was an advanced society at that time. Alexandria held the world's largest library. Religion there was already ancient before work on the Old Testament began. Evidence suggests that, while Jesus was in Egypt, he learned a lot about prior and existing pagan religions from Egypt and Babylonia (and perhaps even farther afield). This would not be unusual for an intelligent and curious young man, like Jesus.
It's abundantly clear that Jesus adapted concepts from other ancient religions (the worship of Horus and of Ahura Mazda) and integrated them into his own hybrid religion. The blatant similarities are too numerous to be explained any other way than by simple plagiarism.
God and Satan; savior hero figure; virgin mother; wondrous miracles (even turning water into wine); death and resurrection 3 days later, a final epic clash between good and evil -- all these things were lifted straight from the story of Horus and even from the Avesta (Zoroastrianism). These religions precede Jesus by many hundreds of years.
Jesus was a jew who fulfilled their prophesies and became the most famous man of all time.

Yes he was a Jew. born as a Jew to joseph and Mary, also both Jews, and both descendants of King David.
Jesus' Father in heaven, Jehovah God, chose Abraham to start the Jewish nation. He then sent Jesus, as His son, to modify Judaism . Because Christ means Messiah, it could also be accurate to call Christianity [ the following of Christ] Messiah-ism. [ The following of the Messiah]

God came to earth (Jesus) and lived as a Jew-His chosen people-and lived on earth as a human from 4 BC until 30 AD. But His divinity time-line is infinite.

Yes... Jesus was Jewish.
If you think about it though, if what the christians preach was true then he couldn't have been. Afterall, one has to assume that if Jesus was the son of god and knew it, that he would know the truth of things... and if he was a Jew then that would make Judaism the truth of things... and christianity would never have separated off from it.
On the contrary, if Judaism isn't the truth of things and Jesus was still a Jew... then he would have been holding to false beliefs. If it was unknowingly then he couldn't have been the son of god.... and if it was knowingly then we have somewhat of a paradox.
Effectively though...
EITHER Jesus was a Jew.... OR he was the son of god....
The two do seem to be mutually exclusive.... and I vote the former.

Yeshua (Hebrew for Joshua) -- Anglican "Jesus" was born a Jew of Jewish parents and was 'the Christ' (anointed one).
He was a teacher at various synagogues and was called 'Rabbi'.
I think that pretty much indicates that he was indeed a Jew.

In this realm, his father never sat him down and said no more of that. Jesus is a Jew. Your question also conotes Jesus is Late. It should have been, "Is Jesus Jewish" because he lives on.

Actually, He was born before 0 AD and He was Nazareth, something the Jews held against Him when He was crucified......
Actually, read the New Testament for yourself and see if you get anything from it, ok?
