As each one is a part of every other one, to mistreat or abuse another is to do so to one's self.

This one chooses to be peace, to live peace in mindful awareness, compassion and kindness towards all of existance and, in so doing, to serve all others and this one's self.

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktu, my brother and my friend.
May it all be well with you.

Neither.
I proclaim there are no truths, but mere lies and distractions to draw the mind from the void.
I support neither the oppressor nor the oppressed, as the roles are interchangeable and the participants dance through them but briefly before being swallowed up... their supposed purpose served.

And I hold to none of these values, as no sooner are words spoken then they become things of the past and lost to the unknowable present.

Dear Brother

In Religion of Islam God Allah has ordered us in Holy Quran chapter 3:114 as follows:

114. They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous.

115. Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knoweth well those that do right.

Holy Prophet peace be on him said: whoever helps supports an Oppressor he shall be accounted for oppression too along with him.

Similarly Doing Good deeds and supporting others in doing good deeds earns virtues.

Again if some one sets up an evil deed and people follow him, all of the evil of the people continue doing it shall be attached to the person who started it and similarly;

If some one sets up a virtous deed and who ever follow its ways all of the virtues shall also go into the account of the person who started it without lessening the share of others.

I suppose it depends on the who the oppressor is and who the oppressed is. If the oppressed is an axe-wielding maniac who wants to kill me, then I strongly suspect i would be on the side of the oppressor. If on the other hand the oppressor is the axe-wielding maniac then it would probably be the other way round.

context is everything one line questions are dubious.

I only know my truth no one elses.
People who claim their truth should be everyone elses is an oppressor.
