Hi, hope I can help you. Pups of that age should remaine on puppy milk until 4 1/2 weeks old. At 4 weeks old you can start them on puppy mush. This is easly made with dry puppy food crushed up and puppy milk added to make a mush looking like runny oatmeal. You can feed the pups this 4 times a day. At 5 weeks old you can continue to feed the puppy mush but not so runny and now mix the mush with warm water. A shallow bowl of cool clean water should be there for the pups to drink all day long. Feed the pups this 4 times a day. At 6 weeks of age just soak the puppy food int warm water and break it up with a fork and water should be avaible all day long for the pups. continue feeding 4 times a day.
From 7 weeks on they can eat moistened puppy food along with some dry food mixed in. Water should be down for the pups all day long. You can feed the pups 3 times a day from now on. At 8 weeks old they can have just dry food and water. At this point they can be give to their new owners.
I don't know how big they can get it all depends on the breed of dog they are.
Hope this helps you out. Good Luck!

Puppies shoud double their birth weight in one week, and also gain every day,, as far as how big they will get,, hard to say.. but chances are they will be med sized dogs..
you can start to offer food after 21 days,, before that the digestive system is not able to handle solid food..
I start puppies on a good quality canned food mixed with milk replacer in a blender till it makes a soupy mix, that they can lap up and offer it several times a day 3-4.. Very young puppies cannot pick up pices at this age,, or untill they are about 4 weeks old..
as they get a bit older I make the mix a bit firmer.. and add softend kibble, then only kibble soaked in milk replacer, then kibble soaked in water, then hard kibble,, (about 5-6 weeks old)
hope this helps..ONLY use the milk replacer,, giving regular cows milk with result in diarehhea,, and can kill the puppies...

DO NOT give them cows milk;it will give them diarrohea.Dogs should neber be given cows milk anyway;only goats milk if your`e desperate, and even then in limited quantities.Buy a good "follow-on" puppy replacement food/milk.They should start to take solids at 6 weeks old,but keep an eye on their motions, and adjust the milk/solid food intake accordingly.
You sound like a caring person;good luck and God bless for being kind to animals when you didn`t need to.

Hey, first of all I think you are great caring for those poor little pups.
I am not sure how good animal shelters are in Portugal, so you woul need to have a look at those.
Cow milk should never be fed to them, they get diar- rear.
Best thing would be to contact a local vet or the equivalent to the blue cross, they might give you help and information and even refer you to potential owners.
Good Luck!

Never, real milk will give them diarrhea. They need puppy replacement milk. They stay on that until they are able to eat watered down dry food. How big they will get depends on the breed. They should start trying to eat "mush" at about three weeks of age. You will still have to give them milk at least until five weeks. Good luck, its not an easy job.

NEVER!!!!! Cows milk will do a puppy no favors!By the time they are 3 weeks old you can start them on warm water soaked puppy chow,or mix some baby rice cereal with the powdered milk for a few days before you try for the food.Works for my chihuahua pups every time.

at about 20-21 days you can try a tad of dog food softened in the milk- no point changing anything else in the meanwhile.

continue giving them milk and at 3 weeks old start giving them mush food...get puupy replacement milk until theyr 5mths old then wean them onto just water.
For the size they will get to I would need to know the breed as all breeds differ.

I would contact a local animal shelter and let them take care of them.
