You are mad. Unless someone is thinking of setting upa company called 5ky.
I don't think anyone is likely to remember it particularly or type a 5 instead of an S by accident when opening skys website.
It would look good on a car registration plate, but as a domain name you were conned

You should be mad. Companies prefer domains that mean something to their business, rather than simple a short meaningless name.
I would have paid $9 ... I have 4 domains, and I didn't pay more than $9 for either of them.
But, I could be wrong.

Depends on what you want to use it for.
Personally I would not pay that amount.
A name is only as good as the branding you build around it.
