Christmas is a State of mind

Title :Bing Crosby - White Christmas

The sun is shining
The grass is green
The orange and palm trees sway.
I've never seen such a day
In Beverly Hills LA.
But it's December the 24th
And I am longing to be up North.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where the treetops glisten,
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write.
May your days be merry and bright.
And may all your Christmases be white.

Let It Snow!
Sammy Cahn, Jule Styne (c) 1945

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

When we finally say good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm;
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Christmas? Hmm...it sounds crazy but I wish I had some of that summer heat right now. All across north-western Europe is so unusually wet. It rains all day long and haven't seen the sun for a month now...

So I don't know anymore what's worse really.

You must be high on ice. It's freaking summer in Greece. But you can go to Australia and New Zealand and have your white christmas there.

Yikes! They are predicting temperatures in Greece, Italy, Romania, Hungary and most of the Balkans 42 degrees Celsius (106 Fahrenheit). I'd wait for Santa either by the beach, the pool or in an airconditioned FREEZING room. Good luck.

I've heard jingle bells too. Hard, I have a christmas tree from last year. It's decorated (I keep it like this because I get bored doing it from the begining every year).
I can bring it to you, plus carols sung by Bing Crosby.

almost 6pm here in Cyprus and it is still 40+C. I am sitting in my office with the AC on but still hot as hell (I'll kill the guy who made this building. it draws in all the heat. mus be like 50 in here). I want a nice cool and rainy day, with my not so thick anorak on, walking in the rain, thinking of the warm soup in the kitchen and the bottle of red wine with my dinner. mmmmm sounds so much better than this hellish summer.
