Actually, I didn't vote for Tony Bliar, marched against the war as I knew it was a futile affair, I regularly stand against injustice (I am a member of Amnesty International) and yet I am still a target for extremists and terrorists who strike indescriminately and without a care for the people they kill.
Mind you I don't fly, live in a Motorhome and travel all over UK & Europe so I'd like to see them catch me.
It sounds to me that you are justifying the actions of the terrorists and as such you are part of the problem not the solution. It is never right to Kill and until people on both sides of the argument realise this there will never be a resolution to this sorry state of affairs.
PS. I'd just like to add to the people who are saying that the justification for this war was the removal of Saddam Hussain, it was not, the reason given for going to war was the fact that he had WMD, a point since shown to be wrong, he had no such weapons. Also the reason cannot be that he is an evil man as throughout the 1980s America funded Saddam Hussain and provided him with Chemical Weapons so that he could continue to be a nasty little despot. Jeez Americans are so hypocritical, and worse than that it seems that Britain is no better.

Whilst I am fully aware the US-UK response to the events of 9/11 have made us more of a target, and that the situation in Israel/ Paelstine is the root of most greivances that fundamentalist Muslims have against us.
I feel that maybe you are over looking the main reason for Al-Qaeda targeting the West is in response to non-Islamic troops being stationed in Saudi Arabia following the 1991 Gulf War.
That war was probably the most justified war since WWII, supported by virtually every govt. on the Planet.
Even the US and Russia could agree on it. And you had Syrian troops fighting alongside American, British, Saudi and Egyptian troops.
Saudi Arabia invited America onto their soil to protect them and all other nations in the Middle East that were threatened by Saddams aggressive regime. This is the single most contributary factor to Al-Qaeda's war with the West, not the invasion of Afghanistan or the invasion of Iraq.

Why should we regret Afghanistan. I mean this was perfect example of where terrorist hide and stay, Thanks to the US/British forces people in Afghanistan can now win the rebellion against the Taliban which was started before we even entered the country.
You have this backwards man, We were attacked at least three times before we even started the "war on terror" or got involved in other countries affairs...
Attack on U.S.S Cole....
Attack on Marine Bunkers in Saudi Arabia
Attack on Twin Towers 9/11
This is our "Reaction to a Reaction done to us by terrorist". And as it sounds you guys are now realizing you made a BIG MISTAKE starting war with us.
BTW you will not get sympathy from me when Hezbollah and Palestinian groups launch missiles into innocent crowds of Israeli people. Matter of fact Palestinians wouldn't even have a place to call Palestine if Israel didn't give them that in accordance with a peace treaty that Palestine agreed to but yet isn't keeping.
Kidnapping Israeli solders, What did you expect them to sit by and let you bomb them and kidnap their people? Please you did that to your self. Or in other words this is Israel "Reaction to a Reaction".
One more thing before we entered Afghanistan the Taliban was killing innocent Muslims left and right. Do you support the killing of your own people?
With the thumb downs the truth hurt don't it?

living 20000 miles away means living just 2000 miles around the corner, since the Earth's circumference is 40 thousand kilometers / 22 thousand miles.
Palestinians do not seem armless to me, at least they are shooting Kalshnikov and showing their RPG on any occasion they are seen on TV.
BTW when talking about revenges... lets say all of that is just a reaction to the spoiling of Christian territories from early 7th century until 1526 repelling of Muslims away from Vienna..
Here you have it: the ultimate reason for all the wars is that the muslims threw their baptism of sabre against wrong territories. they should focus strictly towards the east.

read some history mate. You are repeating the same argument told time and time again through history. But the road from Mecca to the gates of Vienna is a long way to go in "self defence".
You want simple physics? OK- have it your way. Try stopping a 500 pound bomb with your bottle of petrol
You think you give me sleepless nights? Think again. And read about how "minority issues" were handled in the past.
Mind you, some solutions I would not be proud of. But with my back to the wall I will rather be a hammer than nail.

Yes yes yes, we've heard this all before.
Ask yourself, or the people you feel you represent - why are YOU being attacked. Of course, it would be easy to say "greedy western dogs" as it would be easy for us to say "heartless religious fanatics", and we could throw names and accusations at one another until we die of starvation - but there is more to this... and actually, the whole "good"/"bad" thing, it doesnt exist.
Both "sides" have got really really REALLY dirty hands. Violence has beget violence for a long time now, and lets be honest, both sides have overreacted and used propoganda to make the other seem like the scum of the Earth and made some stupid errors that show that we, as a race, really havent come anywhere in 5,000 years except to dress smarter and get better tools for the job.
So, to answer your question, "y r u being ATTACKED??? ", because it is easy. Same reason we are attacking you. Its easier to kill someone then live with them, its easier to push your own beliefs and ideals onto someone then learning theirs and living with it and thats just the way it goes.
Im not a liberal, hell, I'm rooting for my "side" if I am honest, which i guess makes us enemies, but I don't hate you and I dont have any special desire to see you beaten, humiliated, killed or subjegated. Its a crappy world we live in, hard luck, way it goes. Whether its the tiger ripping apart the zebra or a child getting its leg blown off by a bomb, there is no real consitsancy at any level of existence except suffering...

I regret nothing my country does in the face of continued war against those who seek to wreck our lives with mass murder. The invasion of Iraq was not mindless , in fact those who took the decision to invade Iraq were mind full of the problems such action would bring.
The reason for getting rid of Saddam Hussein have not changed, He posed a threat to oil supplies from his neighbours his greed and lust for power would have brought chaos to the world with the inevitable raise in oil prices that would have ensued if he'd been left alone.
If there is anything mindless going on its down to the insurgents and suicide bombers who kill and main their own people in the vain attempt to hurt America and the UK.
I support the war!.

Are you aware that the 20,000 miles which you quoted is about 4.000 miles from where you started? Or was that poetic licence? If the Palestinians are not armed, what are they doing, pointing their fingers and shouting "bang"? Anyway it goes both ways. Get your friends to stop trying to blow us up and everything will cool down.

and two wrongs make right now? I am against all forms of terrorism including state terrorism and in no way condone this kind of retaliation, so some Iraqi has had his family killed by a coalition air strike, he not going to bring them back by blowing up lot of innocent people on the subway now is he?

I quote:
"simple physics 'Every action has a reaction?' madrid bombings,7/7,petrol bombs are
all retaliation...........
PEACE!!!"
So... 7/7 bombings are retaliation, peace? How can you tell that this man is a muslim? : )
Incidentally, using "coz" and poor spelling is not because English is your second language, it's because you are an idiot. Spanish is a second language of mine, but I don't intentionally misspell words in it.
