It already has been proved.
It made me realise what a disservice that religion does to God, when they try to pull him down to the level of humans and then they do things in his name, as if he wasn't capable of doing them himself!!!

Wow the amount of people that missed the point of this question... scary
Being a non-believer I would say it would change my life and outlook quite alot.
Although I imagine it would change the lives of those people who think they believe in god more - it would be hard to change from their current delusions to whatever this god would actually be. (For proof of this, ask each Bible basher what god would be like and see the different responses).
I would also, as others have stated, want to know how it is I am meant to live my life.
Very much in agreement with Jojo in this one...

I would be extremely confused with how he is supposedly perfect, yet his religion and guidelines such as the Bible are nonsensical, contradict themselves, and apparently his 'perfect' morals he first created must not be so perfect - because they have constantly changed with the times. Back when the Bible was first made, a lot of completely barbaric things were allowed which Christians today would deem 'Un-Christian'
I would refuse to worship a God that does such a terrible job, allows terrible things to happen, and sends anyone who disagrees with him to be tortured in flames for all eternity.
As for how my life would change... well, I guess I'd be pretty depressed that I was going to be tortured endlessly after I died, so I'd try to enjoy my life as much as I possibly could, while I had the chance.

I don`t need to change anything i do whether there is a God or not. You don`t have to be part of any religion to be a good person. The dictates of Christianity are really just good morals, do not steal or harm anyone etc. in fact if you treat everyone the way you would like to be treated yourself, you will have a clear conscience! We all make mistakes anyway, `Let he who is without sin cast the first stone`

It would make absolutely no difference to my life at all. I am not religious but work on being the best person I can be, do my best for others etc etc. I do not need to have the threat of torment in order to be a good person. Although I am not a christian, I think in some ways Ilive a more Christian life than lots of Christians I know.

I wouldn't - I don't particularly believe in god, but have always thought that if a god did exist, as long as I tried to be as good as possible, and treated people as well as I possibly could, that he'd let me into his heaven anyway. I don't think that you need to be part of a structured religion, although it does benefit some people, in order to reap any rewards that there may be in the afterlife. Would your god not let me in if I'd led a good life - I would like to think that he would. On that basis, I'm not changing anything.

Wouldn't change my outlook in the slightest. How would such proof come about anyway?
Any advanced alien civilisation may be able to pop along to Earth and "prove" that they are God to gullible humans, how would we be able to tell the difference?

There is no reason that I would have to change my life even if a god was proved.

Evidence is all I ever asked for. If He owned up to being the one as depicted in the O.T. however, I would take Him to court for crimes against humanity.

Which god are we talking about?
With all the conflicting nutcases out there, we wouldn't need to worry about it for too long.
