If you are in a suburb, perhaps it is an indication that you want to get away from your life (if you are under stress that is). All of the houses looking the same might represent a certain repedetivness(sp?) in your life. If the pavement is too hot, you want to get off it, you want to get out of there...maybe tie this in with the repetition of the houses...you need more spontinuity in your life. You are tired of doing and seeing the same thing day in, day out.
