illegals should be deported for the same reason this guy got arrested. When selling "Impeach Him" buttons gets you arrested but illegally living in a country gets you New Haven CT most favorite person status you know there is a serious problem.

I don't see how this will last. I feel sorry for the legal citizen people of New Haven. Can you imagine what that city will look like in 5 years. No thank you. The $250k could have been spent better. I do like how O'reilly mentioned how the illegals live 50 to a house. Tell it like it is Bill.

My stance is that it is obscene that absolutely nothing is being done (foreign policy wise) to stop them from immigrating here in the first place!
The debate in this issue has been limited to primarily those who hate other ethnic groups that come here illegally and those that wish to exploit them.
Why not use the pressure we can exert on other countries (particularly considerable pressure in Latin America) to genuinely raise the standard of living so the incentive to come here in the first place is gone.
There should be a protectionist labor principle at work, after all the higher wages are our tax base macro economically speaking!
We were able to stop legal marijuana in Mexico 3 years ago, but we're helpless to get them to pay human beings a fair wage for work that is done!?!
I DON'T BUY IT!!!!

The city of Buffalo N.Y. once bought bus tickets for homeless people. The destination was San diego. Perhaps cities should by bus tickets for illegals to New Haven. Over load this system they have and let them "embrace" them then.

You got to be kidding! What the FXXX did my ancestors fight the Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam for!!!!
Illegals who come to America, not to seek refuge from oppression, but to raid our economic system and government stealing from the taxpayer pool of money reeking havoc on our legal system and having the nerve to tell us that we need to speak their garbage language (while the rest of the civilized world is learning English).

Good send ALL the illegals there and barb wire that town in, what an idiot for a mayor!

This is a disgrace for those immigrants (I speak for my family also whom migrated to the US) whom have gone through the immigration process and have taken PRIDE in obtaining their US citizenship status.

Illegal aliens are not evil people, but then again, people that drive 130 mph are not really evil either. But both will need to be punished for their actions, or complete chaos will result.

Don Destefano is the man! God bless New Haven! Hey what do you know Fox News and Bill Orielly pumpin their propaganda B.S. again for their Republican agenda! I was kind of surprised Bill was kind of leaning twords the pro amnesty a little. However, I believe the network did it this way so they wouldnt look to obvious and do their best to try to look fair and balanced. I do feel your guys pain though you guys killed our way of life when you guys brought boat loads of Europeans and killed us off with your nasty diseases!
