Why breed? How about instead you take a visit to the animal shelter and see all the animals there needing homes. Why on earth would you make more? Let me guess - to make money? Nice. Be responsible - DON'T. Especially when you don't even have a #&@#*@( clue about breeding, anyway! Geezus...

8 weeks, first shots, exam by a vet health certificate.. REQUIRED by state law,, reguardless if you give them away or not.. so the answer about let the new owners do it is FALSE..
As far as all the other stuff,, not only the puppies have specific needs, but so does mom,, Get several books and READ READ READ.. as a general rule, you should have at least $1000 on hand after you pay all your other expenses, stud fee, whelping supplies,, food, toys,, and such for emergencies..
Breeding either can go very easy,, or you can have multiple complications, have pups dies, mom die, need emergency care.. The mimimum is mom in good health, up to date on vaccinations, propper area for her to raise her litter, good food and nutrition, checkups with the vet before and after whelping..
Puppies need moms care, or your care if she is not able or willing, several wormings, good quality food vaccinations, a enriching enviroment, training handling nail trims, baths,, cleaning up after them,,, Puppies POOP ALOT...
Finding homes can be a problem.. even if you give the pups away for free.. there are plenty of people who would be intrested BUT.. are also homes that you may not want for your dog.. depending on your area.. you may find that there are few homes, and that also means,, keeping the pups, additional food, vaccinations training as they get older..
From the day you breed your dog.. you have 4 months minimum of hard work ahead,, So what are you going to be doing in 4 months? do you have the time? then add to that more time if all the puppies are not placed the day they are 8 weeks old... I personally have waitied till some pups where 6-8 months old to find the right home..
But I am picky where my pups go,, I want my buyers to be happy..
just a FYI,

Why are you wanting to breed your dog? Is she an exceptional specimen
of her breed, conforming closely to the breed standard? Has she any hard to
find virtues that would be a critical addition to the breed? Has she been
tested for genetic problems that can be passed on from the parents and does
she have an exceptional temperament? Has she been shown, and at least is on
her way to being a champion, if not already one?
If you want to bred and do it ethically, you must be committed to
learning all about your breed..its standard, its genetic diseases, the good,
the bad and the ugly. You must understand that your female could die. You
might have nothing but dead puppy bodies whether she lives or not. You might
have to pay for an emergency c-section to save her and/or the pups. If you
lose her, you are responsible for all the feeding of the pups, which will
require you to feed them every 1.5 to 2 hours. ALL hours, not just the
daylight ones. The puppies will poop 24/7, and this becomes your
responsibility to clean whether the mother survives to raise them or not.
The pups still need to be vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed no matter
what. When they reach certain stages of their lives, they need proper
socialization and guidance. They will be your responsibility at least for 8
weeks. After that 8 weeks, you are responsible to make sure they never wind
up homeless in a shelter or rescue. To ensure that, you will have to do
homechecks and make up contracts to be certain the new owners are going to
take care of them for life. You have to agree to always be available to take
back your puppies no matter what.
If you want to be a responsible breeder, look up your local breed
club, jump in and educate yourself. Listen to the advice of REPUTABLE
breeders and learn all you can about your dog. If you just wanna make
puppies to sell for lotsa money, don't bother. We have too many of those
already.

If you don't know anything about breeding why do it? There are millions of dogs put down every year because there are to many dogs and not enough homes. The biggest contributor to this is backyard breeders (UGH) and that's what you would be if you bred your dog.
Don't use your dog as a money making puppy machine. Let her be a pet. Be a responsible owner and get her spayed.
THE ONLY REASON TO BREED IS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE BREED. What would you be doing to better the breed?

Puppies don't get first vaccinations until they are 8 weeks old. They should NEVER get them younger then this.
They will need to be dewormed with a vet approved dewormer at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks old.

vaccinate them when they are 6 weeks, and get them dewormed. Just make sure they are nursing, newborns don't need much. Before breeding her, feed her puppy food throughout her pregnancy until the puppies are done nursing. That will give her the extra calaries she needs that the puppies are taking her. Also give her calcium tablets. You can get those at pet smart or a vet. =)

Pupies should get thier first shot when they are 4 weeks old. They earliest they should be up for sale is 8 weeks old and eating solid food but you should wait till they are at least 10 weeks old.
