Why is there so much negativity toward christianity? I don't go around forcing what I believe in on someone else. Actually, I don't even talk about it to people unless they ask me. So, if I am good enough that I don't force my beliefs on anyone, why do the people that don't believe in that force their opinions on me?

The reason I am asking this is because others seem ready to argue their stand without anything directed at them, so I figured that I could at least ask one question.

As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.

Good for you. But you must understand that the majority of Christianity has been forcing their ideas on people (in very brutal ways) for the past millenium.

Maybe, and it is only a thought, because Bush speaks with God and killing people at the same time. But i don't think millions should be harassed for the actions of a few. Too much intolerance.

Posting an opinion is not forcing an opinion.

Once you learn to accept that, everything's cool.
